On Thursday, June 22 at 8:30 pm, Local actor and comic Erik Rodenhiser brings his "exceedingly lively" stand-up comedy and improvisation chops to CinemaSalem.This one-man show is called "Only When I Laugh: An Evening with Erik Rodenhiser", and deals comically with life, love, family, turning 50, and the year he nearly died.
Erik has appeared in numerous local and regional television commercials, including Iparty, Cambridge Honda, Newport Fed, Country Bank, Topsfield Fair, and many others.
He also enjoys performing in plays and musicals with local and regional theatre companies. Some memorable roles include Lancelot in Spamalot! Lloyd in Noises Off! Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, The Cat in The Cat in the Hat, and The Grinch in A Very Grinchy Holiday Special.
Erik Rodenhiser is the owner of Gallows Hill Museum Theatre in Salem, MA (a local tourist attraction) and lives in Salem with wife Ursina Amsler and his two kids, Griffen and Phoenix.

Tickets are available for $18. This one-time comedic event will take place on Thursday, June 22 at 8:30 pm at CinemaSalem. The doors will open at 8:00 pm, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
